Dr. Melz as the managing partner works in the area of commercial law and above all in the areas of trade and corporate law. His clients include medium sized companies as well as companies listed on the stock exchange.

Dr. Melz looks after his clients both during the business start-up phase and in connection with complex restructuring processes which are governed by corporate law. His clients are not only supported by the employees of the department he leads, but also by external cooperation partners, for example in the area of tax consultancy, in order to achieve optimum and comprehensive consulting results.
In connection with the supervision of legal disputes, in some cases with considerable publicity, Dr. Melz supports his clients also in the field of increasingly important so-called Litigation PR. In such cases, our company also works in collaboration with highly professional external partners if required and requested by our clients.

As a specialist lawyer for labour law, Dr. Melz also directs the labour law department which has supported for a considerable number of years a large number of companies that operate both regionally and nationally. In this area too, restructuring processes as well as related collective law issues are handled by Dr. Melz. The close connection between the fields of labour law and corporate law often manifest themselves in these types of cases. Dr. Melz also supports company directors, board members and other senior executives with the creation of employment contracts and assists with the resolution of labour law disputes.
